Titanium grades 1-4 are pure titanium and the other grades are alloys. Pure titanium is used for its high corrosion resistance, while alloys are used for their extremely high strength-to-weight ratio.
GR1 is pure titanium with relatively low strength and high ductility.
GR2 is the most commonly used pure titanium. Optimal combination of strength, ductility and weldability.
GR3 high-strength titanium, used for matrix plates in shell and tube heat exchangers.
GR5 makes the most titanium alloys. Extremely strong. High heat resistance.
GR6 has excellent corrosion resistance in reducing and oxidizing environments.
GR9 very high strength and corrosion resistance.
GR12 has better heat resistance than pure titanium. Applications for Years 7 and 11.
GR23 Titanium-6 Aluminum-4 Vanadium ELI (Extra Low Interstitial) alloy for surgical implant applications.
The production process of industrial pure titanium tube is as follows:
Surface treatment - blanking - rolling - degreasing - drying - cutting to length - annealing - straightening - pickling - rolling - finished product degreasing - drying - annealing - straightening Straightening—finished product to length—pickling—inspection—packaging
We at Baoji Changsheng Titanium Industry Co., Ltd. are committed to quality assurance, each of our product orders undergoes strict quality control, and each order is accompanied by an independent third-party test and inspection report.
